Florida woman wins $2 million prize from Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off, takes lump sum

A Dixie County woman did not win a million dollars in a scratch-off game. She won $2 million.

Pamela Funk, of Old Town, paid $10 for a Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off game in June of last year and claimed a $2 million prize, according to a release Wednesday from the Florida Lottery.

Funk, 67, went for the one-time, lump-sum payout of $1,370,000. She bought her ticket from Old Town Shell, located at 25850 Southeast US Highway 19 in Old Town. The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket, lottery officials said.
